A regular name in the luxury industry’s little black book, Martin Brudnizki has created critically acclaimed interiors for some of the world’s most prestigious commercial and residential addresses. Having founded Martin Brudnizki Design Studio in 2000, the designer has become known for his ability to understand, process and translate into design a space’s surroundings, vibe and history.
Whether it’s an industrial venue complete with gingham-checked tables and wooden signage or an atmospheric, 1930s themed creation of an exclusive members only club, Martin can turn his artistic hand to just about anything. A recent commission is London’s 34 restaurant—a gentlemanly haven of burnt orange leather banquettes and dark woods contrasted with light paneled walls and stunning light fixtures inspired by English, Edwardian and Art Deco influences. We made a visit to the stylish eatery to catch up with Martin about the project and his flawless style.
